In order to deliver a bespoke web application to budget and time, we employ our own Rapid Application Development methodologies. This draws from over 20 years of traditional and web application development experience. The key to this centres around two key processes that are interlinked; the design of the underlying database and the user interface. Our practical approach is through our interactive design workshops where sketches are drawn up of a potential user interafce design and almost at the same time the data requirements are captured and modelled into a working database.
Whatever technologies we are using to build the web application, (ASP.NET, PHP, Ruby, JQuery etc etc), the process is the same. The result is less time spent on expensive re-work later on in the development life cycle, and a happy client.
